floppy is on a distinguished road
Good morning everyone,
I'm working on a project and my Professor won't just answer my emails, though time is not on my side and I can't wait for longer I'm afraid.

The problem is the following:
I am using an aortic root's database found in a paper, even available on GrabCAD (it's a patient-specific geometry) and it included leaflets completely dilatated with calcifications. My aim is to study the blood flow in these conditions in Ansys Fluent, though i have to realise the block first to be imported from Pointwise. Even if I managed to realize the block for the aortic root only, I'm missing something on how to integrate in it the tricuspid valve and its calcifications. For my understanding after days of watching tutorials, I need to realise some kind of shape around the valve and extrude its component from it so the flow can pass around the leaflets and not through them; I don't know how to do it though cause the shapes I tried are quite difficult to adapt to the already existing aortic root wall.
Any suggestion? I hope so because If I don't find a solution I'll have to change my project, otherwise I won't be able to take this exam. It might even be a trivial problem but I can't figure it out.

Here the database I am using:
https://grabcad.com/library/patient-...alcification-1

Thank you!!!
