Hi everyone,
I have a mesh with a bluff body at the center, surrounded by unstructured mesh and then followed by structured mesh. I am able to export and get a .cas fluent file if I only export the structured mesh from Pointwise to Fluent. But if I select the entire domain, including the unstructured part, then I don't get the .cas file. I would be thankful if any of you could kindly share some insights regarding this problem. Thank you. |

The hybrid mesh you described should export. Unfortunately, without more details, I cannot give you any advice.
Please READ FIRST: How to give enough info to get help If the mesh is something you can share, please provide a download link to the PW file. |

Hi @dgarlisch,
Thank you for taking your time to comment. Initially my domains in Pointwise were not joined or combined before exporting so I was having the issue. Once I combined the domains and exported, it worked like a charm. Thanks once again. |
