Pointwise introducing additional lines to the geometry

Hello,
I am facing this problem with pointwise when I import over a (.stp) geometry. It introduces additional lines into the geometry. So, basically, it looks like the geometry is the same as the design, but on zooming, each line is seen to be actually 2 or even 3 lines very close to eachother. This geometry was designed in Catia and in it, the geometry looks fine. I cannot figure out what the issue is and I tried searching online but nobody else seems to have experienced this issue yet. I am not allowed to share the files by my supervisor. Any help or suggestion would be really valuable. |
