Hello,
I am new to Pointwise and trying out some simple meshes to learn. My geometry is a fairly simple cylinder (taken from a step file). I just convert quilts into structured domains and then extrude them. Cell size grows from 3e-5 to 0.25 by a growth rate of 1.2. Then I perform a normal extrusion, again from 3e-5 with 1.2 rate. However, the boundary layer mesh extrudes really weirdly, it does not follow the normal and kind of swells out. How can I prevent this from happening? Please see the images below. Edit: even if I add a database constraint, it ends up like this: Thanks in advance, Huseyin |
