How to avoid auto merging of nodes in Pointwise

I am encountering a problem with nodes too close to each other gets merged into one single node automatically. See attached pictures of a structured domain after cutting, the generated new node gets automatically merged with an adjacent node which creates a problematic domain. Thanks for any help!!

Make sure your model size (for database entities) and grid tolerance values are set appropriately for the grid you are trying to create.
