Error when generating volume grid

Hello,
I'm trying to generate an unstructured volume mesh (with T-Rex) for a complicated body. The mesh successfully generates if a specify a maximum T-Rex layer count of 0 or 2. However, if I specify 40 layers (with the intention of growing the layers out to isotropy), it doesn't work. PointWise builds all the T-Rex layers, but when generating the isotropic region, gives the error: Error: Failed recovering surface Error: Failed to make volume grid There are no other debug or warning messages produced. Has anybody experienced these kind of errors before? |

Hello everyone,
Please disregard this post - it looks like the problems were due to bugs in PointWise 18.0R4, which have been fixed. |

I am also facing the same problem. I am trying to generate an unstructured volume mesh using isotropic entities and fluctuating boundary decay. I am performing block initialization and it is again and again showing error.
ERROR: One or more entities failed to initialized. Failed to make volume grid. ERROR: Isotropic tets could not be formed. Try setting other isotropic attributes. Please help me to solve this issue. |
