Hello,

I'm almost completely new to the pointwise software, and I have this problem that should be quite easy to solve.

I want to create a structured domain, that i can later extrude, where the internal six holes, as seen in the picture, is not part of that domain.

If i make a domain selecting all connectors, a square structured domain without holes appear.

Is there a easy solution to this i'm missing?

Thank you!

You can't create a single structured domain to accomplish the topology that you want. You can, however use multiple structured domains to accomplish what you want. Then you can extrude all of these domains at once.

Hello,

Thank you for the answer.

I did do this approach earlier, but alot of blocks and boundaries would then be created.

Would you just make an interface BC between the blocks, or is there another way to deal with this problem?

The interface BCs in Pointwise are already created. To demonstrate this, if you go to the CAE menu, and select Set BCs... option, you should see that all the interfaces have already been applied, and all that is left to set are those boundaries which are free.
