Hi, I am trying to mesh a cone in the centerline of a pipe in Pointwise to run in OpenFOAM. As such, I am trying to create a wedge to take advantage of the symmetry. It seems that the poles on the axis of rotation are giving me troubles when I try to export the mesh. I was able to create a wedge with the poles without the cone and was able to export and run just fine. I can create this new mesh I need just fine, but cannot export. How can I go about exporting this type of mesh?
I get the following error when I try to export: Info: Check your grid for one of the following invalid situations: Info: * Incompatible BC types used on opposite sides of a baffle or connection. Info: * Non-manifold connectivity. Error: (0) Could not write face files. Attach are some pictures for clarification. |

Agree, you may want to attach the file and let us know what version of Pointwise you're using.
