I am working on a 2-D simulation of flow around a obstacle where I have utilized hybrid mesh. However, when i import the generated mesh in Fluent 16, an Error occurred, that is Cell is missing face: cell 0, Zone 2, at location...
I have examined some possible problems such as the mesh orientation; the boundary conditions considering the interface, even the volume conditions. But it didn't work on this Error.
I really need your help to solve this issue!

Thank you very much!

You seem to have eliminated the obvious culprits.

Please ZIP the Pointwise pw file and attach.

If the ZIP is larger than the 195.3 KB limit, you will need to use some other method of posting (e.g. DropBox).

This is weird.

The grid exports from Pointwise to fluent cas without issue.
The resulting cas file imports into Pointwise without issue.
The resulting cas file imports into ParaView without issue.

The cell at the location XY location given by fluent seems to be correct.

Are you running the double precision version of Fluent?

Does fluent have a mode that produces more verbose error info?

So far, I am stumped.

Thank you for your help Mr.dgarlisch. This is really weird. I have uninstalled the ansys 16 and installed it again today. Then, this problem disappeared automatically. Thank you again for everything!
