I'm trying to mesh a simple wing to run on VSAERO.
I've already created the domain. Now, I need to create the blocks to orient the mesh as required by VSAERO. I have two problems: #1 - When I select the solver for VSAERO, the option to create blocks gets unabled. Then, I have the use a solver that allows me to work in 3D dimension. #2 - Even in 3D dimension, I cannot create a block by selecting only 1 face. It looks like that I need at least 6 faces. But I only need 1 face for the block. So I could create one block for each wing semi-span. How could I solve it? |

Joel:
It is not necessary to create blocks for computationally 2D CAE solvers like VSAERO. Just select the domains you want to change the orientation of and go to Edit, Orient. Hope this helps, Rick |
