Hi there,
I'm tring to use glf scripts to generate grids of an airfoil, though sometimes I found that the grid extrude direction is not point out of the foil curve, after some check I found that the split method is the main reason: The script will firstly use a given leading edge point(like {0 0 0}) to split the foil database to two curves so that spacing adjastments arond LE can be made more conveniently. However the result two databases given in random order(may not be random but I don't know yet), some times the result lower foil cuve is con-1 while sometimes the upper is, then the direction of the final grid varies. So I wounder how to make sure that, the lower curve is con-1, and the upper is con-2 after the split? Thanks in advance |
