Swirler Mesh using Pointwise

Hi,
I want to generate a structured mesh for swirler using Pointwise software(Figure 1). I have tried two topological structure for the swirelr. The first is to obvious which a block is created between swirler blades which is illustrated in the attached files(Figure 2). However the maximum angle is larger which reaches to 160 degree(Figure 3). Secondly, I use the Extude-Normal in Pointwise to create the boundary layer mesh of the blade(Figure 4), but the mesh quality around the edge is very poor(Figure 5). So could anyone give me some suggestions on the topological structure? Thank you very much! |
