i have a rocket like configuration on which i desire to make a hybrid mesh, with a tet core block and a mach aligned block, similar to what has been shown in one of the webinars --http://www.pointwise.com/webinar/su2/. now since the leading and trailing edges of the fins are sharp, trex is unable to generate anisotropic layers on them, thats the first problem. another problem is that most of the time trex gives out an error "one or more entities could not be initialized" -"unsupported surfacecell type.", i'll attach a couple of images.
The second one is a bigger problem, since i wish to automate the grid generation process using scripting.

kindly help.

When applying T-Rex layers to sharp edges, it is usually best to set Grid > T-Rex... / Full Layers to 0 (zero).

This allows the solver to apply multiple normals along the sharp edges which otherwise would not be applied, resulting in fewer layers and significant scalloping of the layers that are completed.

I am not sure what to say about the error message.
