2D airfoil mesh starting from .dat

Hi to all,

I am new to Pointwise.
I am trying to create a 2D mesh of an airfoil (MH45) starting from the coordinates.

Can someone tell me which steps I have to do in order to obtain the mesh?

Hi Pier:

You say you're starting from ".dat" so I'll assume you have the coordinates in what Pointwise calls a "segment file" consisting of a line with the number of points N followed by lines with X, Y, Z coordinates.

I suggest you first watch a video we call "Getting Past the Blank Screen" https://youtu.be/5ze94LiODjw or this longer version of the same https://youtu.be/GFfq57qoxfI. It features an airfoil grid.

Then I suggest trying the first case in the Tutorial Workbook: a NACA 6412 airfoil.
