Chris,
I am working on improving the orthogonality of the surface mesh on the ellipse. I want to create two blocks one near the outer wall which is orthogonal and the other at the center of the ellipse.Later i would like to apply butterflymaker on the center block to get an O-H topology and use a grid solver to get good transition. I tried normal extrude option by selecting the connectors on the ellipse to create an orthogonal mesh but was not successful in creating a block.Could you please suggest some ways to improve orthogonality at the wall and also have a better transition as we move away from the wall. I have attached pics of what i have now and i found that it had more orthogonality at the center than at walls. |
