Hi:

I am a beginner of phoenics. My case is to simulate the air quality in an underground garage. The pollution source is CO that should be modelled as a mass source in phoenics, however, I have no idea on setting the source term up.

The final result of this process would be a graph of distribution of CO concentration in the area.

Could I just set it up in the main menu?otherwise, how could I set up the source term? Thanks for echos as soon as possible!

If you figure out where your source will be, you can set it when you set up the object. If your source is unsteady-state type, you have to use Q1 file to input.

Hope it helps.

What version of PHOENICS are you using? You can create a New Object of type INLET and have a different species entering there from the domain fluid. I think you would have to activate SCRS to do that and set the reaction rate to zero? This might be overkill. You might have to do IPSA.
