how 2 plot result data from VR-Viewer in 2 excel

hi
i ve a problem in getting the result data generated by Earth as desired. i m working on project in which i ve to plot temperature vs time graph after the earth run ,this may be either in excel or origin or in phoenics itself (if possible), the project inlcudes varition of rolled steel coil temperature with respect of time when heated by hot gases . so please do suggest me a method for that |

You could use autoplot, otherwise add some ground coding to dump temperature at times (dt) at the end of each timestep. This would be in group 19 of ground. You would need to open a file for dumping at the start of the run.
OPEN(FILE='XXXX', etc) Or you could try using INFORM, goto polis and read the relevent part of the INFORM section, I suspect that this would be possible. |

thanks mick
but since my first message post i ve got anothr better way. just simply create a point history probe and dump the files in xydata files from where the datas can be imported to execl or other graph plotting applications . and the problem i m facing now is that i ve to create a point history probe that can calculate and record maximum temperature throught a blocakage object. pl suggest regards |
