hello everyone, I want to simulate flow in a Packed Vessel (fully filled with porous media) which have a air pump at the top center. and the filled media generated a kind of gas continuously and no other inlets. I'm now puzzled with source setting and the application of darcy model. wish your help.

Flair has the option to set porosities and the corrsponding resistance to flow (from imperical tables), for grilles and plates.
Otherwise you will need to set your own darcy-type resistance. Look at the answer to "Different permeabilities in different directions". |
