How to calculate velocity and concentration seperately? The distribution of concentration has no effect on the velocity,so i wonder whether there have such function to calculate the velocity first, then I can turn off the button "solution for velocities and pressure", with the calculated velocities to solve the distribution of concentration alone? The version of phoenics that i use is 3.3

You can at first just solve (p1, u1,v1,w1) and store(c1) after the convergent result of p1,u1,v1,w1 are obtained, restart the previous phi as initial condition and change the solve(p1,u1,v1,w1) as store(p1,u1,v1,w1) and change the store(c1) as solve(c1) then you can solve the concentration by the flow pattern.

The mixture component is not reacting, it is inert. How can I activate it's transport without energy equation and combustion activating in VR Editor of PHOENICS 3.3. How to activate solution for C1? How to set solv(……) and store(……) in VR Editor to receive solution for velocities first and use these fields to solve concentration transport after? Where do I set a diffusivity coefficient inVR Editor?

In Vr-Editor
Main Menu-->Model-->Solution Control/extra Variables--> in the SOLVE blank input C1 and then click APPLY, you can see C1 appear in the table below the SOLVE blank. You can click the second button below the C1 in the table to toggle on and off the SOLVE action. In Main Menu-->Propertie-->Advanced Settings Then you can set the ENUL/D1 (Shemidt No.) in the Prndtl row blank under C1 variable name in the PRNDTL table. |

Hi, I simulate a air/water flow in a close pipe. But I don't know how to set the quantity of water when I use a steady model.
