Putting an INLET flow with some angle

I 've put a 3D stadium in phoenics and I want to simulate a flow arround it...
The problem is that I don't Know how to put an Inlet flow in angle. e.x. I wan't the flow to be at 30degrees in XZ axis... How can I do this? |

It's simple! Provided, that is, that you have a fixed-velocity boundary condition rather than a fixed-pressure condition - which is a reasonable thing to do on the upstream faces.
All you do is resolve the angled inlet velocity into cartesian velocity components (i.e. multiply by cos(theta) where theta is the angle), and then set these in the velocity slots in the Inlet Attributes dialog box for the object concerned. Good luck! |
