[OpenFOAM] installing paraview

how can i install paraview in fedora 13?

Greetings Hessan and welcome to the forum!

There are so many ways to install ParaView in Fedora:

As root, run:

Code:

yum install paraview

Then for making paraFoam use ".foam" as extension, run:

Code:

sed -i -e 's=\.OpenFOAM=\.foam=' $WM_PROJECT_DIR/bin/paraFoam

Or you can use the version available at www.paraview.org by following these instructions: Using the official pre-built ParaView 3.8.0 version with OpenFOAM...
Or you can build it from source by following these instructions: Building ParaView 3.8.0 with custom Qt 4.6.3
