Hi,
I have a 3D backward facing step. i want see streamline in a face or average of them in z direction. i tested all buttons of Paraview but i didn't reach to a desired one same as attachment picture. i don't have problem for 2D cases. but i don't know how is 3D. Thanks in advance. |

hi
I have the same question like you.So I have chosen tecplot to pose-pocess my results. But I have other question--how to show the streamline at one slice.Have you sloved your plomble? |

Hi,
here is an idea: Let's assume, your slice is in XY direction and with no Z component. - open "Filters->Alphabetical->Calculator" with your slice as source - Formula is: iHat*volPointInterpolate(U)_X + jHat*volPointInterpolate(U)_Y + kHat*0 - Now make a StreamTracer[WithCustomSource] on the Calculator filter.
