I was looking at speeding up my workflow by saving a Paraview/Foam state and just changing the name of the case in the resulting pvsm file. This works well enough when I only apply filters and sources that have all their properties set inside a panel, like glyph, contour, ruler, etc.

A problem occurs when try to plot some variables that are integrated over a selection and over time. Since these filters depend on selections, I have to manually go in an make the same selection over again.

I know that this behavior makes sense as the meshes may not be identical in the general case, but all my runs are made the same mesh only with different boundary and initial conditions. Is there any way to make selections persistent between sessions?
