I have successfully installed openfoam. FoamX works fine.the calculations for icofoam, simplefoam tutorials are also fine.
But when viewing the mesh in paraview for icofoam Cavity, it gives the following error:
FOAM FATAL ERROR : Unknown function type probes

Table of functionObjects is empty

From function functionObject::New(const word& functionType, const Time&, const dictionary&)
in file db/functionObject/functionObject.C at line 70.

FOAM exiting.

Also when viewing simplefoam Pitzdaily ,paraview window opens,but no mesh is visible even after clicking the Accept button.

I need some urgent help.
TIA

eugene is on a distinguished road
Comment out the "functions" section in your controlDict. functionObjects are not compatible with paraFoam at present.
