ParaFoam Error

Im running the binaries provided at OpenFOAM's site on a Ubuntu box.
OpenFOAM works OK but when I try to run paraFoam on the interFoam/damBreakFine tutorial directory, i got these error messages: $ paraFoam Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: No protocol specified ParaView error: InitializeTcl failed Tk_Init error: this isn't a Tk applicationcouldn't connect to display ":0.0" $ Im trying to run in on my localhost X. DISPLAY enviroment variable is set to :0.0 Does anybody knows what is wrong? Can anybody help me please? Thanks Jonatas |

This error usually appears when you run remotely through an ssh connection, and want to print on the localhost X server ... but it seems this is not the case here.
Try the following command on the localhost: xhost + This will enable everybody to print on your screen, so be carefull if you belong to an untrusted network. Dragos |
