I have to compare a liquid volume with a circle.
It's the output from a simulation. I thought about creating the contour-plot for gamma=0.5, which does look really good like a circle. But how am I going to get addition data corrosponding to a circle inside this plot? Or do I have to export the contour plot so I can handle the comparison in an other software - like MATLAB, or something similar? Does anyone have an idea about how to export contour-plots?

Hello Sebastian!
I don't quite understand your problem. Maybe you should attach your output file. You compare a volume with a circle. Is your question, how well a certain contour of a 2D cut of the gamma field correlates with a circular curve? If you want to compare these visually you can add a cylinder or sphere source in paraFoam an overlay them with your solution. For a quantitative comparison you can save the output in paraFoam in any data format that you are able to read into your Mathematica or whatever. Bernd |

Yes. That's exactly what I planned to do.
But how is it possible to export such data from ParaView. I haven't seen any export function or similar.
