Hi, everyone,

for some reasons, I reinstall OF 1.3 in my laptop, and after that, i want to make sure nothing is wrong in my installation by running the cavity(icoFoam) case, but when postprocessing the results, paraview shuts down aotumatically and the error reads:

snail@snail-laptop:~/OpenFOAM/snail-1.3/run/tutorials$ paraFoam icoFoam cavity

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Could anyone give me some ideas?

Thanks in advance

The correct command is "paraFoam . cavity" assuming that you are already at the icoFoam root directory. Please please follow the user guide[1] exactly for once. If you wish to use the full path the syntax is:

paraFoam $FOAM_RUN/tutorials/icoFoam cavity
