Hi!
I'm using paraview on windows to visualize a mesh produced by snappyHexMesh. I've added the following lines in the snappyHexMeshDict: writeFlags ( scalarLevels layerSets layerFields ); but no snappy fields are available in paraview. Please help! |

This might be related to the used reconstruction method for the fields. We discussed this before here: How to identify faces not extruded after addLayers' snappyHexMesh step?
Check if these fields are available and if not, read the thread. I hope this helps you as well. |

I confront the problem even if i'm not running snappy in parallel. The difference is that then the files 0/cellLevel, nSurfaceLayers, pointLevel thickness thicknessFraction, are created. But then again I still cannot visualize these fields.

In this case, check that the paraview option "Skip Zero Time" is inactive (on the .foam-node a bit below the "Apply" button).
If that still does not help (I remember having this issue too), temporarily rename 0 to 1 and hopefully it will work then. |
