I am running openfoam-9 on Ubuntu 22.04 through wsl2.


The default paraview that is installed with openfoam for me is v5.6.3.



I manually installed paraview v5.10. It launches fine when I use the command 'paraview', however when I use paraFoam it spits out this error message. Can't find anything online, hoping someone else has seen it.

Created temporary 'inclinedPlate2.OpenFOAM'
ERROR 4: `/home/mark/OpenFOAM/inclinedPlate2/inclinedPlate2.OpenFOAM' not recognised as a supported file format.

ERROR 10: Pointer 'hDS' is NULL in 'GDALClose'.

Is there a way to edit the code for 'paraFoam'? Would like the convenience of having the dummy.foam file open automatically in paraview, rather than having to do it manually.
