[OpenFOAM] Vorticity thickness

tom.opt Member Tom Join Date: Apr 2017 Posts: 50 Rep Power: 9	Hi All, I'm trying to calculate the vorticity thickness for a jet flow from an openfoam RANS simulation. The formula I found for doing this is: $\delta=\left(\frac{\Delta U}{\left\|\partial u_{1} / \partial x_{2}\right\| \max }\right)_{x=0}$ I'm slightly stuck as I don't really understand the formula. Could someone explain how I can code this formula in ParaView? Thanks
