Hi everyone,
I am just new in OpenFoam and Paraview. Does anyone know how to show the name of surfaces in Paraview 5.4.1? (There is a "Patch name" in the pipeline which could be used to show the name of the surfaces. However, when I go to my Paraview 5.4.1; I cannot find this tick option. Thanks |

The Show Patch Names tick box will appear for dummy files ending in ".OpenFOAM" extension but appears to not be available for dummy files ending in ".foam".
$ paraFoam -touch will create the file ending in .OpenFOAM $ paraFoam & as normal should now display the Show Patch Names tick box. Make sure you select your patches under Mesh Parts (besides the internal mesh). See also: http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~hani/kur...amTutorial.pdf |
