Hi
After running a tutorial case of openFoam(cavity),successfully, Im trying to activate paraview and I get an error message:

Cannot use ParaView reader module library (PVFoamReader)
The PV_PLUGIN_PATH environment value is not set

Continuing with Builtin reader: paraFoam -vtk

Created temporary 'cavity.foam'
/opt/OpenFoam/OpenFoam-v1906/bin/paraFoam: line 326: paraview: command not found

How can I solve this problem ?
e.g. The file paraFoam exist in the directory: /opt/OpenFoam/OpenFoam-v1906/bin

Hi Tuvia, simply create an empty file "case.foam" in the simulation folder and open this file with standard ParaView by using the "Open File" command.

Somehow I cant create a new file. The command "mkfile" does not work.I get the message "command not found". do you know something about it ?
Another question. I cant fine my working directory on my disk c. How can I get the path to it ?

You mentioned disk C, how are you running openFoam? Is it on Windows Subsystem for Linux?

For the paraFoam problem, use:

paraFoam -builtin
