Hi All,
I have just installed Foam-Extend 4.0 on a new PC running Windows 10. [Installed in Bash on Ubuntu for Windows, version 16.04]. Using the helpful tricks found on this forum: Problems compiling foam-extend-4.0 + fsiFoam on Ubuntu+WSL , I was able to get everything installed correctly, with the exception of Paraview. I figured I would install the native windows version of Paraview, and just write a script to copy data to a windows-accessible folder from the solution directory in FE4. I have had some success with this technique, but am running into an issue with visualizing FSI results. When I run the beamInCrossFlow tutorial, I can only load the data values that were initialized in the 0 folder in paraview. [See Attached]. I have no idea why I cannot see the other data values (meshPhi, pointMotion, D, DD, etc....) I've gotten paraview to work fine with FSI results on a separate PC (WSL, windows 10, OF6 and FE4) that uses the paraview that comes with OpenFOAM 6.0, but I don't see why this different configuration would cause an issue. Any help is appreciated! |
