[OpenFOAM] Trouble opening OpenFOAM files in ParaView

Hi all,

I’ve just started working with OpenFoam (on windows, through bash on Ubuntu), and am following this tutorial:

I manage to run the application, and generate the case files containing the results. However, they have no extension and no filetype? You can see what I mean in the picture below, where I navigated to the case folder in my windows machine:

If I then go to ParaView to try and open these files, I can’t see them:

What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Did you read the manual? Especially the section concering postprocessing?

Hello akidess,

Yes I did read the manual. The majority of it is not usefull to me at this moment as my files don't show up in the 'Pipeline Browser', as I explained above..
