Hey guys,

I need your help. I am postprocessing a case in paraview 5.0.1 and once I use stream tracer I get the following output message.

Code:
Can't evaluate dataset
In /build/paraview-arsa8T/paraview-5.0.1+dfsg1/VTK/Filters/FlowPaths/vtkAbstractInterpolatedVelocityField.cxx,
 line 113
vtkInterpolatedVelocityField (0x4c958d30)
What does this message mean? Is there a mistake in my simulation or does it only have to do with paraview and is there a way to fix it?
I can see a part of the stream but it seems like more than half of it is missing

Greetings

Eko

Hi
In order to visualize stream lines there are two other ways.
First you can use streamlines utility.
And you can also use LIC which is really useful for streamlines.

First of all thanks for your answer
But what does LTC stand for and where can I find it?

I'm having the same problem - what was your solution to removing the "can't evaluate dataset!" error?

Wasn't to remove the error message and I don't really know where it comes from. It can be an issue with paraview or maybe even a problem/mistake in OpenFOAM case setup.
