Checking layers generated by snappy with paraview

Hi everyone,
I have trouble recalling how to check the layer generation (through snappyhexmesh) in paraview. I have no problems running and generating my mesh at the moment. But when it comes to checking, I find the process rather tedious as typically we open the mesh in paraview and view the section/slice by surface and edges. I can't seem to recall how I did it, but in the past I managed to view the layers generated by ID. What i mean is that in paraview it will colour my layers according to the layer count (i.e. first layer = blue, 2nd layer = green, ... 15th and final layer = red) This allows me to see if the specified number of layers have been generated sucessfully all over the geometry if i see red all over. I supposed doing something like that should involve foamToVTK but for the life of my I can't seem to recall how to do it. Any ideas? Sorry I do not have a screenshot to show what I'm talking about but I hope my explanation does it. Thank you all for your time. |

Silly me, turns out it was just as simple as loading in the wall patches, or whatever surfaces you have layers on, and choosing nSurfaceLayers from the top toolbar drop down menu. Colour coded layers will then contour the surface of your geometry.
