Hi,
I'm trying to post-process results from Star-CCM+ simulations (12.04.11) in Paraview (5.4.1). Since Paraview cannot read the .sim format directly as I have understood the best option is to export the results to Ensight. If I just run Paraview in serial and open the cases this works fine and I can post-process the results. If instead run it in parallell Paraview crashes when I hit "apply" after opening the .case file. I found this posting : https://public.kitware.com/pipermail...ry/023946.html I have exactly the same problem as formulated by Paul in this thread. So I'm wondering, does anyone get it to work to open ensight cases in paraview using pvBatch? Any suggestions what to test? I also know that the general MPI setup for Paraview works when opening OpenFoam cases. The error output I know get is: *** Process received signal *** *** Process received signal *** Signal: Segmentation fault (11) Signal code: Address not mapped (1) Failing at address: 0x61741cc *** Process received signal *** Signal: Segmentation fault (11) Signal code: Address not mapped (1) Failing at address: 0x617d00c *** Process received signal *** Signal: Segmentation fault (11) Signal code: Address not mapped (1) Failing at address: 0x6052070 *** Process received signal *** *** Process received signal *** Signal: Segmentation fault (11) Signal code: Address not mapped (1) Failing at address: 0x62b13e0 Signal: Segmentation fault (11) Signal code: Address not mapped (1) Failing at address: 0x62cd598 *** Process received signal *** Signal: Segmentation fault (11) Signal code: Address not mapped (1) Failing at address: 0x62e51f8 |
