Hello,
I'm using paraView and I need to slice the internalMesh with a stl file like normal slice operation but a different stl file instead of a plate. In other words I need to elevate my bottom surface to see what is happening exactly a certain height above the ground but the ground varies a lot so I can't do it manually. I've been searching but I couldn't find anything about it. I can do it with enSight so I think I should be able to with paraView too. Regards |

Hi,
The filter you are looking for is resample with dataset. This requires an input (internalMesh) and a source: your stl file. You could also use the transform filter on a patch to move it a certain distance and use that as your source. Regards, Tom |
