Hello everyone,
I am pretty new to ParaView and I have problems displaying my Model correctly. I generated the Mesh of a Backward facing step in ICEM with individual blocks allong the bottom of the duct and right after the step in order to generate a finer mesh in these areas (see attached pictures). When I open my model in Paraview, the cells allong the faces of the andjacant blocks are displayed (Internal edges are blanked out) . Also surprising, is the shape of these cells: they are not rectangular, like the rest, but triangular. This is quite weird because the Mesh is correctly displayed in ICEM or Fluent. I don't know why this happens and have no idea how to remove these needless cells. When I apply the "extract edges"-filter, the cells along the block boundaries are displayed twice. Does anyone knows how to fix this issue? Greetings, Charles Last edited by McCharles; February 13, 2016 at 11:39. |
