Hello,
I am a new user of Open Foam I am mapping the data from an old file to a new mesh file using the following command: # mapFields /FolderName -consistent -noFunctionObjects -mapMethod cellVolumeWeight -fields '(U,P)' Terminal throws no fatal error or any other error. next I hit paraFoam to visualize the mapped U and P fields, however I don't see any scalar/vector field in paraView. Can anyone tell me what am i missing here? |

Hi
I think I know what the problem is, but I did not find a solution yet. I also have a large case (I need very small cells for calculation), and I would like to map the results to a coarser mesh for visualisation. I was hoping to do so with mapFields, but it only maps the latestTime: Create databases as time Source time: 2 Target time: 2 Create meshes Source mesh size: 45000 Target mesh size: 450 Consistently creating and mapping fields for time 2 As a result, I only see the mapped results in paraview for the last time. Is there an option to mapFields for all timesteps? I know about the option -sourceTime, but it only takes scallars of latestTime, not 'all' or something likely.
