AlexKam is on a distinguished road
Hi there,

I've been using Parafoam 3.1.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 with OpenFOAM 2.2.0 for a weeks now with no issues - however for some reason when I try opening a case I know get an error message popping up that says the following:
Code:
alexei@alexei-OptiPlex-9010:~/OpenFOAM/alexei-2.2.0/whirl_0.05r_0.01in_3.0w$ paraFoam
created temporary 'whirl_0.05r_0.01in_3.0w.OpenFOAM'

Paraview still opens however there seems to be important variables missing from my results.
I had a similar issue a few weeks ago that somehow resolved itself - however I urgently need to check my results and am hoping someone could give an explanation and/or solution to the issue.

Kind Regards,
Alexei

Quick answer: There seems to be a conflict with a new Qt version being installed in your system.
You can try using the internal reader:
Code:
paraFoam -builtin
