eyou102 is on a distinguished road
I'm a bit of a newbie, trying to use the PCL plugin in ParaView and building in Visual Studio 2013 (the only VS I currently have access to unfortunately). I managed to install PCL 1.7.2 from binaries and built it using VS2013. It came with VTK6.1.

According to the instructions I found on the ParaView site, I need to build PCL with the VTK that came with ParaView, I guess so that they use the same version? What version of VTK does ParaView 4.3.1 come with? Does anyone have any experience building PCL 1.7 and ParaView 4.3 in Visual Studio 2013? Or building in Visual Studio 2013 in general? What versions seem to work best for this?

Thanks.
