Hello,

I'm rather new to using ParaView.
I would like to know if it is possible to reduce the size of a data file.
My computer is crashing as it reaches the limit of the memory; I can import the data but have probles applying filters like "Clip".
I have been attempting to reduce the size of files and have had success on the tutorial file of the spinning disc. I triangulated and then decimated the object.
When attempting the same with my Ensight files I do not have the option to triangulate (or decimate).
When selecting the ".case" file in the pipeline browser and looking at the miscellaneous section of the properties I can see an option to triangulate. Am i right is saying this is not the same as applying the Triangulate filter?
In addition why can I not apply the triangulate filter using the filters menu?

Thanks
Jon
