Hello everybody,
I created a vtk file from a txt data file with python. (coordinates and velocities). I can apply a Glyph filter on it and it works, but I cannot apply a contour filter. Is there a solution? Thanks |

Hi,
I have the same problem. My data is in the POLYDATA format (points, polygons and scalars and vecotrs included in the vtk file). I managed to draw the vectors by first applying a "Cell center" filter, but I cannot plot contor lines. Any help would be very useful. Thanks R |

Hi Ricardo,
The "Contour" filter only makes sense for surfaces. It doesn't work the way you want it to work when using only points, which is the case for the points created by the "Cell Centers" filter. Therefore, I suggest that you apply the "Contour" filter to the item on the "Pipeline Browser" that still has the faces or cells . Best regards, Bruno |
