Hi.
I have large 3D Datasets pertaining to medical images. I use ParaView to render these datasets as volumes. Sometimes, I need to make certain regions within the Volume more transparent. I understand that opacity is set through the Alpha component of RGBA. So, my question is how can I selectively modify the alpha values within a region of the volume alone. If modifications to source code are required, please give me some pointers for that. I can build ParaView and modify it at the source level. Thanks. |

Greetings paracoder and welcome to the forum!
Without one or two example files, it's a bit too complicated to help you. You might want to also try asking this in the official ParaView mailing list: http://www.paraview.org/mailman/listinfo/paraview Best regards, Bruno
