Hi guys,
What if you open the channel flow case and set an initial velocity in the internal field as a constant U_internal=UC, and using parafoam to see the velocity contour, I found the inlet and outlet cells are not colored as UC, but it seems to be (0+UC)/2. I am using paraview 3.14.1, 64 bits, Ubuntu, of 2.1 Anyone can confirm my finding? |

Hi 1/153 * dw
What's the representation form you're using? Namely, when you choose the field to be represented, is it the cell center mode or the point/vertex mode? If it's the point mode, it's natural that you're picking up the "no-slip wall" boundary condition, where U is 0. Best regards, Bruno

See the inlet cells. I am using point mode as I did before. No problem before, it must be something different in this version I guess. And using paraFoam -builtin, I have no problem. |

Does the same happen with a tutorial case such as "incompressible/simpleFoam/pitzDaily"?
