Hi
I ran a steady state simulation of flow over a building. I want to introduce a source on to the top of the building. I am using simpleFoam for calculations. How do I simulate the pollution source. Do I have to modify simpleFoam or do I use another solver ? If so how do I modify the solver or is there an existing solver I should use ? CFD_user |

you have two options:
1) define a patch there, so you can assign a boundary with source there 2) modify your solver to insert a source term for specified cells extra option: 3) i guess swak4foam have options for these kind of problems |

go here to download swak4Foam:
http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Contrib/swak4Foam and search in forum for swak4Foam + source term |
