Dear all,
I am trying to set a BC in a volume and not on a surface. In other words, I want that a certain volume in my domain has a certain fixed temperature. Of course, this condition is much stronger than imposing the temperature on the surface, isn't it? Do you have an idea if it is possible (if yes, could you tell me how, please) do what I would like to do? Thanks a lot, Samuele |

You could modify your solver by adding some lines that checks the position of a cell
If that cell is then in the region you want it overwrite the calculated value with your own fixed value. |

Actually, I am reading about the setValues function that is available in OpenFOAM.
In fact I know the label of the cells I want to fix the value in. Do you know something about this? Thanks a lot, Samuele |

Furthermore, I can not und which is the righ file to edit. I checked this thread, too. But I can't find the right file to edit. Could you help? Thanks a lot, Samuele |
