I've compiled OpenFOAM-2.1.x smoothly with no error on my Ubuntu 10.04 32bit
but when I tried out the cavity tutorial blockMesh gives me the following message.
Please help me interpreting the error message.

Is your Ubuntu installed in a virtual machine? If so, is any of the folders you are using being shared with the real machine?
