Good day to all in the OpenFOAM forum. I have being conducting LES simuations and using the PIMPLE and PISO schemes for my outer loop and pressure loop predictors. I have been using the 1st order Euler implict scheme for my time integration, and it works well. However, when I switch to the 2nd order implicit time integration scheme, the simulation tends to blow up. I have reduced the time-step in hopes of eliminating the numerical instabilities, but that hasn't helped thus far. Can anyone think of how I might be able to get this to work with the 2nd order implicit time integration scheme?
Cheers, Deji |
